One-day Workshop with Graham Royle

For those who wish to learn a new beekeeping related skill.

NSBKA are very pleased to be hosting a full day microscopy workshop.

A general introduction to the various uses of microscopes related to beekeeping covering: 

  • disease (Nosema and Acarine) diagnosis
  • pollen identification (bring a sample)
  • honeybee anatomy and
  • what to look for when buying a microscope

There will be some microscopes available to borrow if you do not have your own. However, if you do have your own Microscope and would like to bring it along please do so.

Due to the necessary equipment needed to run the course places are limited.

The cost is £17.00 per person + booking fee (lunch is not provided, please bring your own packed lunch with you).
