NSBKA Monthly Meetings

Quaker Meting House 2006

The Quaker Meeting House, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Staffs.

We meet in the Quaker Meeeting House, Miller Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, ST5 1JD (Link to map). Meetings take place on the the first Wednesday of the month with the exception of July and August at 7.30pm. For more information about our meetings and future programme go to NSBKA meetings page.

Getting there from Stoke-on-Trent

Take the A500 Westbound towards the M6 (junction 16) leave at the Etruria Road turn off sign posted for Newcastle A53. Take the first exit off this island heading for Newcastle A53 passing the Queens Hotel (on your left). Go straight on at the the next two sets of traffic lights and take the first left into Miller Street approx 100 metres after the second set of lights (Sandy Lane Albert Street junction). The Quaker Meeting house is at the end of Miller Street on the right with its own car park.

Getting there from Cheshire or Derbyshire

From any direction take the A500 and leave at the Etruria Road turn off sign posted for Newcastle A53. Follow signs for Newcastle A53 passing the Queens Hotel (on your left). Go straight on at the the next two sets of traffic lights and take the first left into Miller Street approx 100 metres after the second set of lights (Sandy Lane Albert Street junction). The Quaker Meeting house is at the end of Miller Street on the right with its own car park.

For many years the NSBKA has had its own apiary facilities at Wood Road in Longsdon near Leek - ST9 9QB (Link to Map). For more details of our facilities and meeting arrangements go to our apiary page.

Getting there from Stoke-on-Trent

Take the A53 Leek Road into Longsdon turning right into Sutherland Road at the crossroads with School Lane (The Wheel Inn Public House on your right). Descend Sutherland Road about 3/4 mile. Wood Road is on your left immediately before the bridge over the Caldon Canal. It is preferable to park in Sutherland Road and walk up to the apiary.

Getting there from Cheshire or Derbyshire

From Leek take the A53 Leek Road towards Stoke-on-Trent. Ascend Ladderidge bank and carry on into Longsdon approx 250 metres. Turn left into Sutherland Road at the crossroads with School Lane (The Wheel Inn Public House on your left).
